Seven Dollars A Gallon

Across the nation, mass transportation is becoming increasinly popular among communters as gas prices hit all time highs. People are saving money by ditching their cars and taking the train and busses to work. The more gas prices increase, the more popular mass transportation is expected to become.
However, the price of gas is also affecting the expenses of the owners of train and bus systems. Transportation Services are having difficulty expanding to meet the increasing demand. The fares arent enough to cover the expensive fuel, steel, and electricity costs. A gas tax, which brings in revenue to mass transportation, does not exist in many states.

If gas reaches seven dollars a gallon, people will definately become more reliant on mass transportation to get them around, however mass transportation may not be able to assist people as much as needed.
